Okay, I obviously don’t know how to change my profile rather than post a comment… Will try to figure that one out before the camp starts!
I’m the Librarian for Digital Humanities, U.S./U.K. History, the History of Science, and Linguistics at UCLA’s Charles E. Young Research Library. I’m also the Head of the library’s Collections, Research, and Instructional Services Department. Because we are soon opening a newly constructed Research Commons in the Research Library, I have been giving a lot of thought to the new types of resources and services that we would need in order to support digital research in the humanities at UCLA. I have also been thinking about new staffing models for library-based research commons spaces, having just created a position for a Librarian for Digital Research and Scholarship in our library.
